Just call me Grabbing Goblin*

As if I didn't already have way too much to read, I felt compelled to grab a copy of all the free reading material I came by at the hospital.

Main criterion was water/splash resistance of course.

Embracing the inner kikay*

Don't normally use nail polish mainly because of my obsessive handwashing. Besides, I suck at applying it, but have been practicing recently.

The Big Niece is at a point in her life where everything should be cute and beautiful. Case in point, last week she told me that we couldn't be friends since I wasn't pretty because I wasn't wearing a dress. When I showed her my freshly painted nails the other day, she declared that they were pretty and that they should be like that "all the days."

[*kikay = girly girl]

Malfunctioning doors

...can actually be a good thing when the commuter train is pretty full due to earlier trips being delayed or canceled.

Because the doors on both sides aren't working, there's less crowding here. Unfortunately, more and more people seem to have gotten the same idea. Well, at least I don't have to make way for people getting on and off the train.

Not a big fan of never-ending escalators

...mainly because I don't want to touch the railing, but also because I apparently have a fear of heights and because I worry that I'll tip over backwards when I stand still for too long.

Anyhoo, I opted for the elevator --- which moves diagonally instead of vertically --- and this is a photo of the elevator shaft.

Cards about upcoming events and movies

I was particularly interested in the one about a Mumin movie, but I consider these cards the paper equivalent of those bowls of after-dinner mints...so thanks, but no thanks.

Pleasant surprise

OC me likes to grab a copy of every free newspaper and magazine I come across. Sometimes OC-ness pays off.

Just trying to stay well-informed

Or gone way way overboard?

[The brother and family subscribe to Dagens Nyheter. Svenska Dagbladet was giving away free copies in the city today. Metro and Stockholm City are free daily newspapers while mitt i Järfälla is a free weekly local paper.]
