Something to look forward to

A Q&A session with the Nobel Laureates is one of the few things that can get me to come to school on a class-free day.

Still at McDonald's

Note the stove (for heating) to the right.

Plus, anyone up for a little alfresco dining?

Pseudo-healthful lunch

Have always wanted to "wordle"

I've indulged myself as a belated celebration of my 50th post.

Purrrty snow!

Until it melts and then freezes into slippery ice of course.

Dare one hope for a white Christmas?

Good morning world!

Trying to start my day right for once by eating breakfast before leaving for school.

Am eating on behalf of two of my groupmates who generously volunteered to be the guinea pigs for our blood glucose experiments today and who have therefore been fasting since 10PM last night and probably won't get to eat until 1PM today. Props to them! I know I couldn't do it.

Which reminds me, I miss having breakfast at McDonald's.

The novelty of vending machines in the school library

...has yet to wear off.

Your bag is welcome inside too.

Spectrophotometers galore

They seem to be rather old, but it's great that every 4-person group has one to themselves.

[UPDATE: Have since discovered that all the other groups have newer spectrophotometers, our group just happened to draw the short end of the stick.]

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

I actually spotted some grander ones further down the road (How did I not notice them before?), but this Charlie Brownesque tree was the one that caught my eye to begin with.

Something to think about

Can teddy bears and toy horses overcome their differences and build a happy family?

The niece seems to think so.
