Attended a meet-the-author event dubbed Deckardrink* featuring Anne Holt. I wasn't sure if I should go because although I've read many of her books, I didn't think I was devoted/rabid enough. Plus, I was hesitant about the whole cocktail party mingling aspect.
A talk with the brother and the promise of a goodie bag ultimately convinced me to go and I'm glad I did.
Anne Holt was inspiring, insightful and funny. If this writing thing doesn't work out, she should definitely do stand-up. :p
*Deckare = detective novel
