To make up for the looong wait, we were given two chocolate truffles for free.
The dessert was a big hit with the big niece. Even though the truffles were quite firm, she dug into hers --- or the one formerly known as the truffle she was supposed to share with her mom --- industriously and with impressive determination. Ha, this from a kid whose ice cream we have to slice!
